- To uphold and promote the principles of Master Funakoshi's Dojo Kun to the students of member clubs.

- to pass on the teachings of master gichin funakoshi, shihan teruyuki okazaki and the other masters.
- To act as a conduit of information and techniques from iskf headquarters to affiliate clubs in the country.
- To serve affiliate clubs by providing administrative and special services with regard to iskf.
